Tammy Wendt has been a practicing attorney for more than 22 years with experience as a trial attorney in both the private and public sectors.

Tammy recently finished her term as an elected Commissioner for The Cook County Board of Review in Chicago, Illinois, the largest property tax appeal board in the United States, hearing 250,000-500,000 appeals annually.

Tammy has lived and worked in the Chicago area her entire life. She is also a proud graduate of UIC John Marshall Law School in Chicago where she earned her J.D. in 2000.

Tammy began her legal career as a prosecutor in the Office of the Cook County State's Attorney in 2000 serving in multiple divisions within the office. Tammy prosecuted thousands of cases, also conducting jury trials in high profile matters.

She then opened her own law firm, practicing in the areas of real estate closings, property tax appeals, criminal defense, expungements, estate planning and administrative law. Again, representing high profile clients in felony trials.

Tammy has been an active member of the legal community having served as president of the Southwest Bar Association, as well as a member of many bar associations. Tammy is also a certified Illinois Assessing Officer (CIAO) and a licensed real estate broker.

Tammy is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
